Hello Everyone!

Welcome fall! The leaves are turning, kids are back to school and we all seem to be settling into a fall routine. Think about taking a course, joining a Zumba class or dabble in singing, dancing or painting. This month the focus is on creation. When you are creative, you are healing and thriving. You co-create with the divine, spirit and in the process you bring forth the gifts that are unique to you. This is your calling - to lay your own unique piece of patchwork on the planet. Start now!

Many Blessings, Caroline

Marlene Creates Hatsy

My dear friend Marlene Madison has created a unique cartoon character Hatsy T - a slightly neurotic, edgy young girl who is bent on adventure - she also cooks! As Marlene/Hatsy says: "Ciao, and welcome to the world of HatsyT, art enthusiast, globe trotter, and lover (of fine tea).  Please join me in my adventures! Be sure to check out my paper shoppe ~ and my small cartoon!"

Here is HatsyT on Cuisine and sharing her Chocolate Pasta recipe!

I had the chance to interview Marlene a few days ago and she told me that she has been dreaming of having her own cartoon series since the age of twelve. Marlene has a degree in fine arts but her real love is creating the life of her character Hatsy. Take a look at the detail in her drawings and the whimsical feeling as she teaches you French and how to cook - albeit not according to my food plan! Marlene is going to be a guest on my upcoming Blog Talk Radio Show where we will discuss creativity and its role in health and healing. Click here for more!

Create Health

Its fall - time to set a health goal! Just do one thing - give up sugar for the next 30 days or even give up wheat. You will notice a big difference in your health and your energy. When you are less tired and less toxic, you have the energy to be creative. Give these two things up for 30 days - even 10 days and witness the miracle of your body. The body is constantly creating cells - give it some good material to work with. Love your body, let it create!

Monday's with Caroline!

I am getting such great feedback from my new Blog Talk Caroline Sutherland Radio shows. Join me every  Monday for The Caroline Sutherland Show at 8am PT/11am ET for a fast-paced, informative hour which features interviews with an expert in the alternative health arena. Following the interview, I open the phone lines to take your questions and do "spot readings" via the phone or the chat feature. The podcasts are available right away so you can listen to them anytime. Join me on Monday mornings and again on my teleconferences on Monday evenings at 5:30pm Pacific.

Monday's are my favorite day - make them yours too!

Create a Soup

Welcome those crisp fall days with a pot of hearty Tuscan bean soup:

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 large leeks - remove dark green leaves and dice
  • 3 medium Yukon Gold potatoes - peeled and diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 - 6 cups vegetable stock or chicken broth
  • 3 cups shredded white cabbage
  • 1 can (14 oz) white kidney beans or Great Northern beans - drained
  • 1 tbsp fresh oregano or fresh parsley - chopped fine
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • ¼ Grated sheep Romano cheese

In a large pot, sauté diced leeks and garlic in olive oil until translucent. Add broth, diced potatoes, and cabbage. When vegetables are tender, about 15 minutes, add drained white kidney beans, herbs and salt and pepper. Heat and stir another few minutes. Ladle into soup bowls and sprinkle with grated Romano cheese. Serve with a selection of gluten free breads or rolls. Serves four.

Speaking of Creating...
License 2 Thrive!

I love working with Kathleen Malone! If you are seeking to get media attention, have her create a Press Kit for you! She is also a master at social media, online communications and newsletters!

Along those same lines, one of the keys to my own success are the opportunities I have had to speak and share my message with large groups of people rather than just one on one.

In order to truly succeed, entrepreneurs and business owners must stop being the best kept secret and step UP to deliver their message to the world more efficiently and effectively. My dear friend Kathleen Malone and her business partner Nathalie Ekobo have created a 3-part video series to reveal the details on how you can increase your visibility and credibility by mastering the art of speaking to groups, on stage, and in the Media.

I know many of you have businesses ~ this is your opportunity to step UP to create a broader awareness of your business, gifts and services, have a greater impact, and influence while fulfilling your purpose, and making a significant difference in our world. Please take a few minutes to watch these videos and then register for their 2-day intensive in Scottsdale, AZ to learn the details of how to fulfill your purpose in the world in a big, fun, sustainable way!

Click here for the videos and more are on their way!

PS ~ You will love this powerful duo; they deliver tremendous insight and experience-packed, real life tools with joy, passion and a mission to help you step UP to fulfilling your purpose!
